Once he moved to Canada, he adopted Indigenous tradition and gave himself the name Grey Owl. Controversial in nature, the book follows the life of Grey Owl and his journey through love and life. Additionally, the book makes mention of Grey Owl’s life as a trapper, his service to the Canadian army, and the women who led him to lecture on conservation well before his time.
