Scope & Content: File consists of patron tickets, ticket books, and passes for Banff Indian Days events including races and concerts, as well as ribbons for partipants and guests. Most of the single tickets appear to be unused, the ticket book is missing several pages. Some are stamped with "N.K. Luxton", "George O. Brewster Bus Service" or stamps by Brewster Transport Co. Ltd. and Banff Springs with day of event indicated. Many tickets have duplicate copies, some ribbons have duplicates.

(a) The metal is stored in a crude wooden box (b) with a wire hinge and remnants of a wax seal on one side and on top. Written in pencil on the lid of the box is “Fred Brewster CRE BELL METAL 1915 YPRES BELGIUM.” There is also a paper remnant on the lid with writing in ink. (c) A very fragile piece of crumpled paper in the box has ink writing (may not refer to this item).

Description: A pair of binoculars (a) in a case (b).a) A pair of black leather binoculars with a brass frame and plastic eyepieces. A hinge on the arm at the middle adjusts the lenses to eye width. The focus is adjusted by a large notched plastic wheel on the arm. Further adjustment can be made by twisting the right eyepiece, with a scale reading “_5 0 + 5”. A narrow leather strap is attached to brass eyes on the body of the binoculars On the left side is “Voigtlander & Sohn Braunschweig & London No. 3380”b) The binocular case is tan-coloured leather with a flip top lid that is secured with a strap that buckles through a leather covered buckle on the front. There are leather straps on the back, to secure the case to a belt, and a neckstrap attached to the sides of the case. The case is lined with red velvet and built up inside to fit the binoculars securely. The case bears the handwritten initials “-.H.W.” and a date (1911?).
