Scope & Content: File pertains to 122 b&w & col. prints of some production shots from various movies filmed throughout the Canadian Rockies. Films included: "The Iceman," "Call of the Wild Geese" [a 1961 German film, also called "Ruf der Wildgänse" which was shot partially at the Brewster's Kananaskis Ranch], "Rainbow Boys" [1973, directed by Gerald "Jerry" Potterton], "The David Thompson Story" [1962], "Charge of the Snow Brigade" [1970, filmed at Bow Lake], "Ski Lift to Death" [1978 TV movie], "Stone Fox" [1987 TV movie], "Deadline for Murder" [1964, originally called "Naked Flame"], "Why Shoot the Teacher?" [1977]. Also includes documents: the crew list for the 1977 film, "A Matter of Inconvenience," a newspaper clipping from the Banff Crag & Canyon dated Wednesday, August 4 1982 about the filming of the C.B.C film "David," a newspaper clipping from the Vancouver Sun dated Wednest, March 28 1973 about the premier of "Rainbow Boys," and a newspaper clipping from the Calagry Herald dated Saturday, November 3 1979 about the filming of "To Elvis With Love."

Description: A collection of three knitted ski toques which fold flat. (a) blue, handknitted of acrylic yarn with white band at cuff knitted to read "I am a Bugaboo helicopter skier" in navy blue. Top has four arms sewn together in cross shape. (b) light blue, handknitted with two narrow reddish stripes just above cuff, and cloth patch sewn on at front, "Canada Red Mt. Ski Area, logo of black and red stylized mountains ". Top of cap comes to triangular point. (c) red, white and blue, machine made, wide stripes with straight sides and triangular shaped top, seamed up back. Two thick strands of yarn attached to sides to form ties for securing under chin. Marks, labels inside, "Colin K Lax Ltd. Montreal, Canada", and, "Pure virgin wool, symbol, 302700 Dry clean recommended".
