Pin of heavy yellow metal, brass? with enamelled colours applied in cloisonne with a thin line of metal outlining. Ground of pin is white with narrow red border and large red maple leaf at centre with "CANADA" printed in blue across middle. Horizontal hinged pin across back slightly above middle fastens into locking clasp.
