- History / Biographical
- Jimmy Simpson Sr. was a backpacker and outfitter in the Banff / Rocky Mountains region. He built the Num-Ti-Jah Lodge near Bow Lake which him and his wife Williamina ran from 1920 - 1945, and led many hunting and climbing expeditions in the area. Jimmy and Williamina had three children: Jimmy Simpson Jr. (who took over the Lodge in 1945), and daughters Margaret and Mary Simpson who became famous as professional ice skaters, the 'Simpson Sisters' in the late 1930's.

Rundle, and Moraine Lake; also images of a freight train travelling around Morant's Curve near Lake Louise, and 'The Canadian' train (close-up) turning a corner after crossing a bridge.

- Originally stored together with June 1961 calendar, which has been moved to storage with other calendars under same sub-series.
