The information appears backwards and simply reads: “CANADIAN PACIFIC RAILWAY.” There is a metal hook located on the proper left side of the wood block that would have allowed the stamp to be be tied (using string) to a belt or pant loop when in the field. Perfectly centered above the rubber stamp a metal stud is present.
