- This is a pastel drawing of a mountain and lake scene. The drawing can be divided into four main layers of unequal size: Lake, trees, mountains, and sky. The trees meet and are reflected in the lake.They reach halfways up the picture. Centered over the trees is a mountain which is occupies the next 1/4 of the piece.
