Wooden tambourine with outside of rim painted red and metal jingles. a skin-like material is stretched over rim and fixed with circular metal pins. The wim has a circular hole that might be a finger or thumb hole. The jingles are stacked in pairs, with 2 sets of three pairs and one set of two pairs. A stamp-like sticker is affixed to the inside of the the wooden rim. Printed on this sticker is WOLFF/ FORDING & CO/ BOSTON, with some very light, indistinguishable pencil writing, possibly a price. Written in pencil on the inside skin: “Catherine Robb Concord Mass”.
