- (a) a reproduction from original Treaty No. 7 medal given to chiefs of tribes involved in the 1877 ceremonies. Face is Queen Victoria in profile and stamped printing "Victoria Regina". Obverse is white man and Indigenous man shaking hands in prairie setting, surrounded by inscription "Indian Treaty No. 7 on top and 1877 on the bottom. A piece of buckskin is looped through the ring on top of the medal so it can be worn around the neck. (b) a maroon fibre drawstring bag with a tag attached in Catharine Whyte’s writing “Johnny Bearspaw - medal - July 1977 brought it back”
