The album pertains to a 1917 ACC trip throughout the Rocky Mountains in British Columbia, including the Field, Lake O'Hara, Assiniboine, and Glacier areas, and includes black and white photographs, all of which are numbered. A bound-edge flip-book style album, it is tied together with a black string and has a faded gilt "Photographs" embossed in the top left corner of the front cover. Additionally, a small white paper with "W" is adhered to the top right corner and a piece of a lined paper is adhered to the centre with the album's title - this piece is torn through the middle but, as per the title page, the album is titled "Canadian Souvenirs Vol. II."

- A straight walking stick with 46 lettered, riveted, metal bands (7/8 cm. wide) commemorating various hiking trips indicating date on flat side and location on the rounded front. The varnished hardwood body has a large ivory handle (seems to be part of a tusk) with a black rubber band underneath for gripping. The tip of the metal shaft is pointed, second metal piece is where wood and shaft are inserted into head for strength. Above this is a coiled thick wire wrapped around the stick, glued, then a thick ring of brass, and again another coil of wire glued into place. The first metal band from the handle has “1918 Alpine Club” stamped on it. The second and largest metal band 3.2 cm. has the words “A.O. Brigden” written in script and the word “WINNIPEG” printed underneath. Each subsequent band commemorates a yearly hiking trip as follows: 1939 Floe And Scarab Lakes; 1940 Emerald & Lake O’Hara; 1941 Glacier = Floe Lake; 1942 Marvel Pass; 1943 Slocan = Okanagan; 1944 Marron Valley; 1945 Temple Chalet; 1946 Skoki Lodge; 1947 Merlin Ridge; 1948 Lake Louise; 1949 AGS - Scotland; 1950 Lake Louise; 1951 AGS - England; 1952 Lake Louise, 1953 Lake Louise, 1954 Lake Louise, 1955 Lake Louise; 1956 England; 1957 Tonquin Pass; 1958 Mummery; 1959 England; 1960 Fryatt Camp BIRKS STERLING; 1961 Ice River Camp BIRKS STERLING; 1962 Maligne Camp, Shovel Pass BIRKS STERLING; 1963 Merlin BIRKS STERLING; 1964 Merlin BIRKS STERLING; 1965 St. Ermine’s; 1966 Wonder Pass BIRKS STERLING; 1967 France - Glasgow, 1968 (blank); 1969 Cartmell; 1970 (blank); 1971 AGS Harrogate.
