- One sterling souvenir spoon from the World’s Columbia Exposition, Chicago, Illinois in 1893. The front of the spoon has, in relief: a head surrounded by a laurel leaf wreath on the tip of the handle, underneath that “WORLD’S COLUMBIA EXPOSITION”, Maritime emblems on the handle, and a ship at sea on the bowl. On the back, on the tip of the handle, is a circle of laurel leaves, inside the wreath a king wearing a crown, below crossed swords, underneath that a globe with “1492 1893”, below that a circle with “ THE WORLD’S COLUMBIA EXPOSITION SEAL CHICAGO, ILLINOIS”, under that “STERLING”.
