Abstract: Pertains to the story of William Bleasdell Cameron, a European settler who was held captive during the Frog Lake Massacre of April, 1885. Cameron tells of the two months he was held captive, as well as his escape during the Battle of Frenchman’s Butte. Formerly titled, The War Trail of Big Bear, the title was changed to Blood Red the Sun in the 1940’s.
