Eisenhower [Castle Mountain] with trees and the Bow River in the foreground in the depressed center of the plate - pink, purple, yellow, and green flower clusters decorate the rest of the plate and the edge of the plate is lined with gold.Castle Mountain [Miistukskoowa] was renamed Mt. Eisenhower in 1946 by Prime Minister Mackenzie King in honour of General Dwight D. Eisenhower’s involvement in World War II. Some local residents resented the name change and in 1979 it was reverted back to Castle Mountain, with the southeast end kept “Eisenhower Tower.”

At the back of the projector is the brown power cord, a small white plastic power switch, and a metal screw attached to a rubber foot underneath that can be turned to adjust the height of the projector - attached to the screw is a paper price tag with a piece of string. Other items in the box with the projector are a user’s manual and various adverts for View-Master slides. The box has a deep black body and a white and silver lid. The box of View-Master slides contains 62 round slides in individual paper sleeves, a small green plastic-covered book on Alpine Wildflowers, and View-Master advertising pamphlets. The slides mostly pertain to tropical locations and National Parks throughout North America - all appear to have been purchased, rather than made by the Crosby family. The box has a black body and a shiny gold lid.
