- One piece poplar bark canoe, 2 seats. One piece of bark is cut and laced to shape with willow strands, 2 willow strips sandwich top edge of bark, laced on with willow strands to shape a graceful top line. 2 wooden "seats" spaced in thirds help to ensure the curved opening.
