- Hand-thrown bowl with three affixed feet and two affixed handles. Hand-thrown lid with turret-shaped knob and cut-out design for smoke ventilation. Bowl has flat base containing rust-coloured calligraphy. Rust, peach, green, gold lustre decorations in garden scene on two white panels.

- Description
- Handle only, elaborately formed in the shape of a Chinese dragon, since separated from its incense burner. Depressions under its chest and tail show where it would have been attached to the burner. The patina is quite brown, and the scales of the dragon are clear cusps on most of its surface. The casting was made in six parts and then joined. The menacing dragon has mouth open, horns raised, claws extended. It would have been a difficult handle to use affixed to the burner, and has an enhanced decorative value.
