- Japanese insect vendor, fully furnished. Platform, 23.0x9.8x5.0, is black painted wood covered with black grit paper. Checkerboard patterned paper covers frame shop, 21.5x22.0x7.0. Hinged panels on both sides, 15.3x3.3. Front facing panels have wooden lattice work, same paper pattern. Shopkeeper, teenage girl, is sitting in centre of shop. She has a patterned kimono with red in pattern and lining, wearing blue thongs, hair piled high with a red tie dyed scarf, china face. Open mouth show white teeth, china hands. Many and varied insect boxes displayed, very finely crafted, all secured to framework. The black boxes are for displaying fireflies. The shopkeeper is also secured to the display. - Japanese basket shop, fully furnished. Base which forms floor of shop is 33.3x21.4x3.0, woven mat floor is an off white colour. Shop walls are bamboo rails and woven bamboo, 18.0x28.0x8.3. The sun shade is supported by 4 vertical bamboo poles. Shopkeeper middle aged man, top of head shaven with rest of hair pulled back into a topknot, "5 o'clock shadow". Dark kimono, woven plaid belt. He is sitting on the floor, yoga position, open hands, extended. Items for sale: 1 big woven chicken coop, 2 medium sized chicken coops, 1 big woven basket with one end open for chaffiing, 1 medium sized flat sparrow coop, 3 smaller flat sparrow coops, several carrying baskets, sieves of various gratings, various wooden dustpans, 1 fish basket, 3 hand brushes, scrub brushes. The shopkeeper was probably a basket weaver as well.

- Japanese food storage cupboard. Rectangular shaped cupboard, solid wood back and top with wood grid sides and front. Wooden grid sides are immovable, 7.1h x 4.5w, and has wooden frame, 0.5w. Grid covers green wire mesh glued onto inside of cupboard, the two wooden framed grids covering green wire mesh in front are both movable side to side, the left one, 8.6h x 6.3w, fits into the groove, carved width of the insides of both the top and bottom of the cupboard, nearest the front. The right one, 8.6h x 6.3w, fits into the groove, carved the width of the insides of both the top and bottom of the cupboard, located behind the aforementioned one two drawers are located side by side at the bottom of the cupboard, 6.81 x 1.7h x 5.8w. Both pull out by way of round white knobs. Cupboard set onto four legs of wooden scroll design in front, plain at back. Located on the inside of the cupboard are two shelves, 2.91 x 7.0w. The left handed one is set lower then the other, 3.2 from bottom, flush to the left side grid. The right handed one is set higher then the other, 6.0 from the bottom, flush to the right side grid.
