A label on top of the case reads “Chicago Academy of Fine Arts” and has Edmee Moore’s Chicago address handwritten in pencil.The case contains: a cardboard box of poster paint jars, five other paint jars, two paint trays, two single paint bowls, nine paint brushes, two protractors, three fine pens, a card of lettering nibs, a box of pins and nibs, five metal adjustable holders, three pencil erasers, four pencils, one stick, one palette knife, two erasers, one sandpaper stick, one metal tool in a case, one wooden hinged tool, one complete drafting tool set, one set of lesson cards, one paint rag, and numerous pieces of charcoal.

- A set of five stacking ceramic palette cups and one lid that are stored in a blue cardboard box. Each cup has a slight lip at the outside of the bowl which fits into the depression in the underside of another. A flat-topped lid sits on the last cup when they are all stacked. Inside the lid there is a sphinx trademark and “Made in Austria”. There is paint residue in each cup.
