Detailed sketch for final version of the 1951 Christmas card. Several animals can be seen surrounding Catharine and Peter’s vehicle, there is a tree in the foreground, and two mountains in the background. “SEASONS GREETINS CATHARINE AND PETER” are written on the TL and BL hand side of the drawing, with Peter’s signature and date in the BRC of the drawing. Some coloured pencil markings in the BRC starting 4.5cm to the left with a circled no. 3 written in pen and 8cm up more coloured pencil. verso: written in coloured pencil “not over 4”x6””, “3 colors Cragg & Canyon Banff”, and “mountain”
