- Alexander Lambie, 1870-1945, was a survey party member, cook and writer at Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Lambie came to Canada from Scotland in 1904. He was a member of the Alaska Boundary Survey team in 1905 and was cook for the first Alpine Club of Canada camp at Yoho, British Columbia in 1906. Later Lambie wrote and published children's stories, poems, novels and completed a manuscript on his early work with the survey.

- Christina Evelyn Bateman (Henry), 1894-1991, was a resident of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Assistant Registrar at the University of Saskatchewan until her marriage in 1925 to Prof. John V. Bateman. She attended the 1923 Alpine Club of Canada camp and graduated on a climb on Odaray Mountain.

- Fonds consists of album in two sections. First part documents the 1923 ACC camp in Larch Valley and subsidiary camp at Lake O'Hara, including Christina Henry's climbs, camp environs, ACC members and also the ACC clubhouse and guests at Banff. Henry's companions were Nan MacKay, Librarian at the U. of S., and Edith MacKay, a Saskatoon teacher. The second part of the album documents Henry's trip to Britain and Switzerland, ca.1923. Her companion for this trip appears to be Nan MacKay. Portion of European section is published photographs. The creator has provided captions.
