History / Biographical: The Mile-Hi Lodge in Banff was owned and operated by John D. "Jack" Anderson (1917-1964). Anderson purchased the property located at 402 Banff Ave. in 1956 and operated the Mile-Hi Lodge until his death in 1964. The lodge remained in business under Anderson's estate until at least 1969, but was likely closed prior to the property's sale in 1973.

File documents the official trail ride of the Skyline Trail Hikers of the Canadian Rockies, which Jean Hembroff MacDonald participated in.
