Copy and on-site shots for Banff Springs: The Story of a Hotel, 1973, ca.209 negatives plus contact sheets and enlargements; II. Landscape photographs for Rocky Mountains highway guide book, Waterton to Jasper, with Jon Whyte (incomplete), 1974, ca.700 negatives with contact sheets and identifications; III. Stage shots of Phil Nimmons Quartet at the Banff Centre, 1974, 84 negatives and contact sheets; IV. - The Homestead Hotel at Banff, Alberta, Canada opened in 1910 as a temperance house. A cafe, the Ye Olde Homestead Tavern, was added in 1930. In 1945, D. M. Soole sold the hotel to Earl E. Gammon and James I. McLeod. Gammon assumed sole ownership in 1948

The photographs are thought to be from the Homestead Hotel and include scenic views of the Rocky Mountains; also, Homestead Hotel, Banff facilities and activities; n.d. Some are framed; others may have been removed from an album. Also includes a notice to guests for Gammon's Hotel, n.d.

- Skoki Lodge is a back-country guest lodge for skiers, hikers and riders situated north of Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada. The first cabin at Skoki was built in 1930 by Earl Spencer for Cliff White and Cyril Paris and the first ski party used the lodge in 1931. That year, the Ski Club of the Canadian Rockies took over operations and were responsible for additions. Skoki was intended as part of a network of ski lodges including Mount Temple and Lake Louise (now Post Hotel). Operators included Jim Boyce, Peter and Catharine Whyte and Lizzie Rummel. Subsequently, Lake Louise Lifts and Skiing Louise have been responsible for the lodge. Halfway Hut is located in the Ptarmigan Valley and was used as a resting place enroute to Skoki.
