There is a tube-like silver frame around the mirrors which reflect a normal image on one side and a magnified image on the reverse. The frame is seamed at each side and joined by small rivet-pins, 6.5 cm diameter, and a solid ring handle is firmly soldered to the bottom of the frame. The frame is monogrammed "MKM" (Maria K. Moore) at the top of one side. Cardboard fibre ring spacers were placed between the mirrors to hold them firmly in place against the frame. These spacers are broken.
