Description: Large, bright brass button and star shaped pin from uniform of the National Fire Brigade Union. Symbol forms an eight pointed star of radial rays around a band reading "National Fire Brigade Union" with a Union Jack at the centre surrounded by a laurel wreath. (a) pin, die pressed, star shaped, patinaed dull brass. Small writing above flag is difficult to make out "Ro 147141?" Ring soldered to each side of concave back to hold cotter pin, missing . (b) button, bright brass, domed with symbol at centre, and raised rim around edge. Hollow with flat back and ring shank soldered at centre.
