- There are several different types of sinkers, tear-drop, cigar, cigar with swivels, shark-fin, and diamond shaped. There are three tear-drop sinkers all made of metal and the largest being 2.5 cm long. There are four cigar shaped sinkers, the largest being 7.5 cm long and is constructed out of metal. One such sinker has a small ball chain on either end with a snap attached to one end. There is one shark-fin shaped sinker with a chain attached to either end. The last sinker is a diamond shaped rubber sinker, 6.3 cm long.
