This looks like an ore sample from the mines in Pine Point, N.W.T. In the 1960s, this ore was shipped by train through the Bow Valley to Trail, B.C. to be refined. The sparkly nature of the ore resulted in many specimens being plucked from boxcars as they travelled along. Piece of adhesive tape on underside reads: “Lucky Jim silver.”
