- Description
- A pair of brown leather, over-ankle, square-toed, unlined ski touring boots, with thick rubber soles (1.30cm on the sole, 2.50cm on the heel), a grooved heel for a cable, and seven grommeted eyelets with yellow and brown laces. There are straps sewn on both sides of the boots; one with a buckle and one with holes; a leather loop pull-off on the back of the heel and boots have felt sole liners. There is a white label with blue lettering on the tongue, right boot “PIONEER by Daoust” (in script). Also on the outside ankles, viewer’s left, left boot (b) and viewer’s right of right boot (a), above the ankle, is the number “9” handwritten in black indelible ink, also written on the tongue “9” on the left boot and above the label on the right boot. On the stitched and nailed soles, near the toe, a “9” is imprinted in the rubber and then circled in black pen ink, and on the heel an imprint of a coniferous tree with SK in the middle and underneath “MADE IN CANADA”.

The blade is short and wide with a straight cutting edge and a serrated back edge. One side of the blade is marked “the Brewster STUBBY KNIFE MADE IN GERMANY.” The case is stamped “Made in Germany.”
