- A set of two handkerchiefs in a shallow, square, 21.0 cm, silver and red lidded box with a Christmas and a Happy New Year! To Catharine From Harold". (a) white cotton handkerchief folded to fit bottom of box and pinned to square of paper, has scroll of bobbin lace at one corner with delicately embroidered spray of multicoloured flowers. (b) white cotton handkerchief folded to fan shape and pinned on top, has different pattern of bobbin lace at one corner with delicately embroidered bouquet of pink tulips and white daisies. Both handkerchiefs have slightly rounded corners and machine stitched overcast edge. Oval gold sticker "Made in Switzerland all cotton" attached with light blue ribbon to point of top handkerchief.
