Head is secured to handle by means of leather strap passing over and nailed to handle then completely covered with soft buckskin sewed to its shape forming a loose, but secure, clubhead. There is a collar of hide with hair on at the neck, then the handle is wrapped with narrow thong of buckskin about 1/3 of the way down where there is a fringed collar of buckskin, and then a large piece of buckskin is sewed on to cover the rest of the handle. A wrist strap of stiff hide is held to the end of the handle with a tightly wrapped thong of buckskin covered with another fringed collar band. A single eagle feather hangs from the middle of the handle.
