Description
A club with swinging head. Handle from branch of tree with bark stripped off and wrapped with wide band of buckskin at end which is tightly sewn on. Bulbous mushroom shaped stone clubhead attached with buckskin thong around middle tied to end of strong cord of twisted buckskin, 12 cm long, which is secured to top of handle by narrow buckskin thongs tightly wrapped over it. Two feathers attached at this end of handle.

A swinging club with head of carved sandstone with deep groove for handle thong and three shallow incised grooves decorating larger side. A flexible handle of twisted buckskin cord is knotted around groove in rock with both ends wrapped together with a buckskin strip just below rock and again in middle of handle. Ends are knotted together with extra length of twisted buckskin hanging below.
