- A woman’s Inuit parka made from light and dark seal skin stitched together to form a pattern. Large, full, pointed hood, short tail in front, and long beaver-like tail in back. Pullover style pattern of light and dark bands along bottom edges, sleeves, and hood. Vertical bands of alternating light and dark rhomboid shapes on sleeves and front of parka. Back of body cut into full pouch and nipped in slightly at the waist, inside seam to follow contour and styling of parka, with a small rectangular patch at the bottom of the tail, and a small circular patch at the centre of the seat, and circular patch on side of hood.
