Description
A square wooden trunk covered with green painted canvas. The trunk has wooden reinforcing strips on the top, sides and bottom. The edges of the trunk are reinforced with metal strips, and the corners are reinforced with brass. The trunk has leather handles and wraparound leather straps for securing the lid. The trunk also has two snap latches and circular locking latch on the front. The inside of the trunk is lined with striped paper. A sticker on the trunk reads “Mrs. John Brewster, Banff, Alta., New Westminster, B.C.”.
