- (a) Long sleeved, off-shoulder, long dress. Fitted bodice has fine cotton pleated at shoulder and caught at centre bust. Sleeves are full with silk embroidery above elbow. Long full skirt is finely tucked at waist. Silk embroidery around skirt, same as on sleeves. Flowers with connected tendrils. Black hooks and eyes for closure at back. (b) Very fine square veil. All edges embroidered. (c) Embroidered belt. (d,e) very small satin shoes with long thin fabric laces. Sole is fine leather.

- Traditional sampler, 4.0 wide border is a line of stitching in pyramid shapes with flower baskets. At the top of inside border is the upper case alphabet, one line of small letters, other in bigger letters and two lines. In the centre is a picture of a white house to the left, a green picket fence, two trees and to the right a two storey brown house. Below that is six lines of writing beginning "One Weeks Extremity May Teach Us ....." "Susan Lehman her work done In the ninth year Of Her Age (__ ?) 1799" * Someone numbered the labels as (a) and (b) and the sampler as (c). It is too fragile to change

- Pair shoes, pair gloves, pillow, long embroidered dress, (a) dress 132.0x72.0. Fine cotton with vertical lines of embroidery running full length, high empire line, short set-in sleeves with 5.0 wide lace at sleeve opening, tightly gathered centre front skirt. Bodice 15.0 long with silk lacing to tighten. Back opening to waist with drawstring neckline and empire waistline. 24.0 long slit openings at waist both sides. Bodicelined with unbleached cotton. (b,c) ivory satin shoes, 26.0 long. Very pointed toe, narrow leather sole and heel, heel shaped, 2.0 high. (d,e) tiny white unlined leather gloves, 12.5 around palm, 13.0 from centre finger to wrist. Fine stitching with 3 decorative 4.0 long seams on back of hand, wrist closure with a snap. (f) ring cushion, 13.0x9.0x4.0, embossed satin with satin bows on each corner with tiny white shells. Shells threaded on fine wire. 2.0 long steel straight pins are stuck into pillow to form letters, one side "L'Amitie", other side appears to be "PLMS"
