- Enfield 303 rifle with wooden stock and handgrip that braces the barrel along its length. The barrel has been cut off at the end (tool marks). The trigger guard is marked with a maker’s mark. The action is marked with “E” and “6448.” The rifle has a leather carrying strap.

- History / Biographical
- Harold Malloch Luxton [1884-1915] was the youngest child of parents Sarah Jane Luxton and William Fisher Luxton. Harold served as a member of the Canadian Infantry (Alberta Regiment, 31st Battalion) during World War I, and was killed in action on December 18, 1915 at the age of 31. Harold is buried at the Kemmel Chateau Military Cemetery in Belgium.
