Dorothy was the first female president appointed to the AMS.; Both editions of the Tricolor (published during World War II) document the Queen's War Aid Commission, a subcommittee of the AMS. They each document alumni who served and died overseas. They are both annotated on several pages.

Other photographs pertain to 1912 Banff Midgets hockey team, RCMP officers, Jack Kidney and friends [ca. 1935], Freddie Hare visiting Forest Kidney at Mineral Springs Hospital in 1978, an ice sculpture by Charlie Beil outside of the Mount Royal Hotel, an early elementary school class photograph [ca. 1900?], and Fred Woodworth's World War I memorial in Ypres.

Notes: File contains duplicates; Photographs in this file were accompanied by notes made shortly before or after accession in 1979 giving names/contextual information about photographs. Some notes are by Jim Deegan, 1987. Information has been transferred to the back of each photograph.
