Abstract: Pertains to the story of Albert Smith, a climber and mountaineer. Passionate about the Alpine Mountains, Smith pursued extravagant adventures only to return to Britain and share his experience with large crowds. He ignited a love of mountaineering, curiosity and adventure in those who heard of his extravagant climbs and visits to Mount Blanc. It is through books as such, that readers are better able to conceptualize mountaineering and adventuring on an international scale.
