- A folding safelight/lantern in a slim brown leather case.a) A slim brown leather case with a lid that wraps around the front of the case with a silver clasp in the middle. The interior of the case is lined with a white felt and a felt wrapped board to separate items in the case. b - c) Two black metal pieces irregular quadrilateral shapes, a stand and lid for the lantern. b) has a circle cut-out on one side (the top) and the other side there is a border around the middle - like a trench, and fits like a lid on top of the lantern screen. Along the edges of the bottom piece (c) there is a thin slot for the lantern screen to be placed. c) has a circle cut-out with a cylindrical piece sticking up on the inside. On the bottom of this piece are some narrow legs along each side and a square in the middle. b) 1.0 x 11.9 x 11.9 cm. c) 1.9 X 12.1 X 12.2 cm.e) A red lantern screen, that can be folded. On either end of the screen is black metal to stand on the metal pieces (b-c). One side features three metal snaps equally apart. The interior of the screen is black. Dimensions when folded: 25.7 x 13.0 x 0.9 cm.

- A Kodak red candle lamp or photography safelight with it’s original box. a) A red screen, that can be folded. On either end of the screen is silver metal to allow the screen to stand in the metal holders. There is a candle in the middle and a lid that goes over the candle when not in use. 3.0 x 8.5 x 8.5 cm c) Top of the candle lamp, a metal lid with a rectangle indent on the exterior of the lid. 1.0 x 8.6 x 8.4 cm.d) The original box for the candle lamp, a white box with a printed label on the front. - Green canvas covered clipboard with a soft top flap that folds down to cover the central panel. Stiff side panels also fold in to cover the central panel. The side panels has a canvas loop for a pencil (contains one pencil sharpened both ends) and a long (10.0 cm) spring clip to hold papers (right panel contains sheets of yellow writing paper from Mt. Royal Hotel, Banff with letterhead of ram's head inside circle). There are two military pads with carbon paper for “Messages and signals ‘A’ Form'”, “Army Form C.2121,” on metal hooks in the centre panel covered by a piece of pink felt with rusty pinholes. The right panel, when folded, forms a cover and has a canvas pocket with a snapping flap. There are grey canvas strap buckles attached around the clipboard to secure it. The inside is marked: “P.A. Moore” with an army stamp and “Brigade Major, 6th Canadian Infantry Brigade” plus a list of other brigades.

- A set of two wooden contact printing frames. a) The frame is wooden all the way around with two metal handles on the short side and long side, with black strips of metal that wrap around the handle and are inside the frame, which can be moved. On the back of the frame is an insert back that is hinged off center. There is grey felt on the internal side facing the glass plate, where the two strips of black metal are visible alongside two other strips of black metal in the corner of one side fixed in an L shape, each strip has a small piece of measuring tape(?). Back held in by metal clips which slide under a lip provided in frame. On the back of the frame is stamped text that reads “KODAK AUTO. MASK PRINTING FRAME” “FOR NEGATIVES” “4 X 5 3 1/4 X 5 1/2 AND SMALLER” “MADE IN U.S.A. BY” “EASTMAN KODAK CO.” “ROCHESTER, N.Y.” “T.M. REG. U.S. PAT. OFF.” There is a silver sticker with writing, “SOLE IMPORTER INTO CANADA” “CANADIAN” “KODAK CO., LIMITED” “TORONTO”. b) A wooden contact printing frame: wood frame with insert back that is hinged off center. There is white felt on the internal side facing the glass plate. Back held in by metal clips which slide under a lip provided in frame. Stamped on the back in black text which reads “EASTMAN PRINTING FRAME” “FOR 5 X 7 NEGATIVES” “EASTMAN KODAK CO., ROCHESTER, N.Y. MADE IN U.S.A.” On both long sides of the frame, back and front, are black foam strips. 20.1 x 15.2 x 2.8 cm.

One ring features a lip along the outer edge, and the other ring features a metal spiral that starts at the center and curls outward. The center of the rings is a gap for a roll of 16mm film, which is filled with a loose roll of 16mm film with a metal bar to keep it in place. b) A bright red box with simple labels on two opposite sides of the lid. The label reads “NIKOR” “FILM DEVELOPING REEL” “FOR 16 MM” “NIKOR PRODUCTS COMPANY” “WEST SPRINGFIELD, MASS. U.S.A.” On one side of the lid and on a corner of the bottom of the box is handwritten number “645”. 2.4 x 9.5 x 9.5 cm. c) A piece of paper with instructions for the developing reel, written with a typewriter, folded in half twice. 15.8 x 17.7 cm.
