Description
A pair of carved bookends of mountain goats standing on blocks of wood. Goats simply carved from 4.5 cm wide block of wide grained (fir?) wood which has had the grain darkened and raised, then shellacked. Both goats are rearing slightly with their front legs on a rock. Base plinth is plain block of wood 4.5 cm high which has been bevelled along the upper edges. Bases covered on bottom with green felt.

Pin button stands on post flattening to another smaller button at back with snap socket, backing button is the same, without the seal applied, and containing the snap post fitting the socket of the front.
