Description: Two images of what appears to be sketches for propaganda posters for World War II. The top image is a Canadian Highlander standing on a hill in a poised stance holding a lee enfield. In the background there is a mountain range, and below his feet is says “CANADIAN HIGHLANDERS ARE WITH YOU.” In the second image it is the Highlander again looking out to the mountain range with his back to the viewer.

Date: 1910 – 1925

Medium: graphite on paper

Dimensions: 20.4 x 25.3 cm

Description: A simple log cabin that is shaped in a simple square is in the foreground. Just in front of the structure there is some logs on on the ground, off to the side is a wooden fence, and behind the building there is a tree without leaves (suggesting that the drawing is later in the year). In the background there is pine trees, and the Rocky Mountains. In the sky their is a couple clouds. On the door of the building says “HOTEL”, and on the bottom edge is says “FIRST SHACK AT CAVE + BASIN”. Peter signed the drawing in the BRC “PETE WHiTE”
