Mt. Schaffer at the centre of the image. The mountain is dark purple-blue and gray. The top of the mountain appears to form a bowl. Sunlight illuminates the part of this bowl that is visible. In the foreground at the bottom of the image, there is a rocky area. Patches of green vegetation are interspersed amongst the rock. The sky is blue with white clouds in it.
