- Kenneth Harold Smith, 1887-1983, was an engineer throughout Canada from 1911- 1960. K. H. "Kilowatt" Smith worked in Alberta on the Bow River Power Survey, 1911-1912; Lake Minnewanka Power Development, 1912; dam construction at Lake Louise, 1912-1913; and the Kananaskis Falls Power Development, 1913. Smith was also involved with the Vancouver Island Dominion Geological Survey, British Columbia, 1910. In 1914, Smith married Gladys Armstrong, daughter of livery stable operator, Elwood Armstrong of Banff.

- Dr. Thomas Bowerman Williams, 1884-ca.1966, was a geologist who served as acting mine manager of Canmore Mines, Canmore Alberta, from ca.1913-ca.1918. He was married to Winifred Annie Martha Girdler (1889-19870) and had a daughter, Anne Elizabeth Williams. His brother, Dr. Merton Yarwood Williams, was also a geologist.

- Fonds consists of views of family, friends and relatives in Canmore, Banff, Banff National Park and Ontario; Canmore Mines; mountain climbing and other sports; family gatherings and activities; trips and travels; mountain landscapes. Includes trips to Radium Hot Springs between 1929 and 1937. Most photographs were made by Thomas Bowerman Williams. Accompanied by three photographs of Radium, BC, 1955, by Anne Williams.
