- Black hard leather travel case with tarnished metal corners, 3 (three) metal clasps, a soft leather handle on the lid, and wood runners nailed to the long sides of the case (one on each side) horizontally. Remnants of paper labels adhered to the lid and the left-hand side.The interior is lined with a tan coloured fabric, inside the lid is padded. The interior is divided into 2 (two) equal-sized compartments designed to hold the various parts of the magic lantern, including a hidden compartment in the bottom left-hand compartment for extra lenses, lightbulbs, etc. A manufacturer label is adhered to the left-hand side of the interior divider that reads “G.R. TAYLOR LTD. TRUNKS AND SAMPLE CASES WINNIPEG” - no manufacturer details found online.
