Description
Dull grey travel case with shiny metal corner brackets, reinforcements along the edges, handle on the lid, and two lockable clasps. A black label underneath the handle on the lid reads “ASAHI PENTAX 6x7 TAKUMAR 1:4 f=600mm ASAHI OPT. CO. JAPAN.” Attached to the handle is a brown leather travel tag with a clear plastic window - visible through the window is a white card that reads “N Morant Special Photographer Public Relations and Advertising Canadian Pacific Banff, Alberta.”The interior of the case is lined with red velvet and consists of different-shaped supports throughout the main body and inside the lid. Case most likely used to house Pentax camera bodies and lenses.

Description
Black hard-sided travel case with silver metal brackets on the corners and, two metal clasps holding the hinged lid closed, a central slide lock [unlocked], metal loop attachments on both short sides [possibly for a carry strap], and a leather handle attached to the lid with metal loops. The exterior of the case has the remnants of several different shipping labels [mostly on the front], a piece of masking tape along the right-hand side of the lid has “PENTAX 6x7” written in blue ink, and “FRAGILE” stenciled in white along the lid. The interior is lined in blue velvet - the body of the case is divided into two compartments and there are velvet-covered spacers in the larger compartment and in the lid to keep contents from shifting. Inside the case is a fabric camera strap still in its original plastic packaging, a wood and metal handle camera attachment in its original Asahi cardboard box [the box has several strips of masking tape throughout, none of which keep it closed], an Asahi Pentax lens hood in a black leather pouch, and a screw.

The message is repeated on the long and short sides (excluding the manufacturer’s name). The bottom of the box has a detailed chart of exposure information and a consumer guarantee.b-e. Padded cardboard package containing four flashbulbs with the General Electric insignia in red on the top. Each package has information on the shooting distance and a warning that the bulbs can explode on the top. The writing is in blue and the background is white. The sides have “GUARANTEED flashbulbs” written on them in black with a yellow background and “#5” and the General Electric logo in blue. The bottom of the package is plain white.

Black hard-sided travel case with corner brackets and reinforcing along all edges - hinged lid held closed with three metal clasps. Below the clasps on the front of the case is a wooden handle, from which hangs a wooden travel tag with Nicholas Morant’s address printed in red ink. Throughout the exterior of the case are various travel stickers and labels, mostly faded and/or torn. The interior of the case is lined with patterned blue and white paper.Contents of the case include:B : two silver metal brackets most likely used to hold/mount a camera flash or light on a tripod - each housed in its own purple fabric bag with “Seagram’s” embroidered on them. Both brackets have small rectangular paper adhesives attached to them - one has “460” written in black ink and the other has “370” written in black ink. C : three metal clamps of various sizes - one housed in a red fabric bag.D : a tripod chain with three open hooks housed inside a metal Kodak developer can with a plastic lid - on the lid is a paper adhesive with “TRIPOD CHAIN” written in black ink.E : three power cords of various lengths - one has a paper adhesive tag that reads “GRAFLEX FLASH” in black ink.F : a flash handle and two alternative parts - all three are made from silver metal and have various plugs and black plastic pieces. H : coiled cables in a white and grey cardboard box - on side of the lid is a paper adhesive label with “TRIPPER” written in black in - “TRIPPER” is also written directly on the lid of the box in black.I : ballheads and screw boards in a beige cardboard box with two paper adhesive labels on the lid - one reads “BALLHEADS 1/4 SCREW BOARD” and the other has Nicholas Morant’s address.J : a handheld chalkboard sign with “MORANT” painted in yellow at the top - the remainder of the board is divided in two, the top section has “P” in the top left corner and the bottom section has “M” in the top left corner. K : handheld digital flash and accessories in a fitted Styrofoam box - taped to the outside of the lid is a “Braun 2000 VarioComputer” instruction manual in a plastic sleeve.

A Mamiya C3 twinflex camera with extra lens. The camera is mostly metal with a pop-open top that exposes the viewfinder, multiple dials on the right-hand side, a crank on the left, and large black plastic knobs at the bottom near the front to extend or retract the lens plate. The back panel of the camera pops open in order to reload the film [empty] and attached to both sides near the top are brackets where the leather carry strap is attached. On the top of the lid is a piece of masking tape with “VC” written in black ink.The spare lens is an alternate to the one on the camera and the only difference is the lens cap.
