Coral was attached to sea floor at pointy end, lived in shallow warm seas and would have caught food with tentacles that come out of top end. Host rock is limestone. Several brachiopod shells and bryzoa. Many fragments of brachiopods and crinoids indicative of turbulent conditions or high energy environment. Sparkles are faces of calcite crystals.
