Content mostly pertains to the deaths of James Frederick Morden, Robert John Kerr and Ovide Smith of Pincher Creek, Alberta while fighting in Honing Spruit, South Africa in 1900 during the Boer War. Contents include condolence letters sent to James Morden's wife, as well as various related newspaper articles and a booklet commemorating the erection of a plaque at Pincher Creek Memorial Hospital in 1902 in their honour. Scrapbook contents also include other obituary articles commemorating James Frederick Morden's father and mother, Albert Milton Morden and Sarah Morden; and Adelaide Maud Hewetson of Pincher Creek.

- History / Biographical
- Malcolm Daniel Geddes, 1866-1927, was a journalist, publisher and mountaineer at Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Geddes was one of the founders of the "Farmers and Ranch Review" in 1904, and served as vice-president and editor until his death. He joined the Alpine Club of Canada in 1917, was active in ACC summer camps and served as Honorary Secretary from 1924 to 1926. Geddes was killed in a mountaineering accident on Mount Lefroy in 1927.

- Sheila Iris Ritchie was Dorothy's long-term housemate and close friend. Dorothy served as the executor of Sheila's will.
- Dorothy's SIN card was originally included but has since been discarded for privacy concerns.
- Photocopies of the original lease for the property on Muskrat Street were taken from Parks Canada microfiche records in 1993.

- File consists of personal correspondence, several newspaper clippings, event programmes, promotional pamphlets, and genealogy/family history notes. Content includes two copies [one printed and one scanned duplicate] of published text "The Diary of Deacon Elihu Woodworth 1835 - 1836", published 1972; several letters sent to Maud and Forest Kidney pertaining to their golden wedding anniversary in 1973, the wedding of Jane Ruth McConville and John Philip Malton, a ceremony marking the naming of Mount Jimmy Simpson in 1974, and a letter to Karin MacAulay from her friend Joyce; booklets/programmes for events held by the Southern Alberta Pioneers' and Old Timers' Association, the Banff Figure Skating Club, and the Banff Community High School's 1979 graduation ceremony; news clippings describing local events and the obituary of Ted MacAulay, 1984; pamphlets for Roadside mountain Trophy Hunts; and notes on the Kidney family tree and Woodworth family burial sites.
