- Dull grey travel case with shiny metal corner brackets, reinforcements along the edges, handle on the lid, and two lockable clasps. A black label underneath the handle on the lid reads “ASAHI PENTAX 6x7 TAKUMAR 1:4 f=600mm ASAHI OPT. CO. JAPAN.” Attached to the handle is a brown leather travel tag with a clear plastic window - visible through the window is a white card that reads “N Morant Special Photographer Public Relations and Advertising Canadian Pacific Banff, Alberta.”The interior of the case is lined with red velvet and consists of different-shaped supports throughout the main body and inside the lid. Case most likely used to house Pentax camera bodies and lenses.

Contents of the box include two glass vignettes with edges wrapped in pale brown binding tape [one has a small tab on one side], a yellow-tinted “KODAK SERIES VI ADAPTER RING” mounted in metal, a circular black plastic “CRAFTMEN’S GUILD PICTORAL CONTROL” fixture with a clear central hole, a thin grey cardboard Kodak box with a strip of paper adhesive tape wrapped around the box holding the lid closed that has “2 1/4 x 3 1/4 Glasses for A - Assembly Enlarger” in blue ink [most likely written by Morant], a second thin Kodak cardboard box with a paper adhesive tape on the lid that has “MASKS for PRECISION A” written in black ink [probably by Morant] that contains wax paper envelopes of coloured celluloid masks, and a paper Canadian Pacific Railway envelope that contains wax paper envelopes of coloured celluloid masks.

- Description
- Northern Electric Field Telephone in metal container. The telephone handle, power cords, and rolled-up carry strap all housed inside the container. Adhered to the inside of the lid is a paper label demonstrating the electrical circuitry and stencilled on the top of the lid is “SS 2734” in black paint. There are thin metal brackets on both short sides to feed the fabric strap through. The hinged lid opens by pressing a black rubber button on one short side. This model telephone often used by Canadian Pacific Railway when all other forms of communication failed.

- Portable “HANDIE-TALKIE FM RADIOPHONE” made by Motorola and used by Canadian Pacific Railway. The main body is made up of two parts that latch together at both ends - the bottom part contains the batteries. Above the latches are loops where the carry strap clip in - the strap is also tied to the handle of the radio by a length of string. The body of the radio is painted with horizontal black and yellow stripes and there are white windows with the “CP Rail” logo - on one side is a red and white sticker that reads “Chan 1 - 161.475 TX & RX - A.” The antenna is capped with a red plastic knob.The top of the box has a grille under the handle - possibly a vent - the handle itself has a metal inlay with the manufacturer details. Also on the top is the bracket mount for the hand-held radio mouthpiece, the mouthpiece and spiral cord, the plug for the mouthpiece cord, two dials, the radio antenna, and yellow labels that read “RADIO SHOP LOANER.”
