- Metal transit with 7.5 dia. directional compass. On the face of it is the manufacturer's logo, New York plus directional letters except "N" is a symbol. Transit has many screws and wheels for adjustments. Cast metal cover of large wheel is broken in half. Wood box is completely covered with leather. Inside lid has leather and wood keepers for various instruments - all missing. A 3.0 cm wide belt encircles the box for carrying.
