Description: A flat glass bottle with a round sterling silver hinged lid. The bottom of the bottle fits into a sterling silver guard, and the top half is covered with black leather. The leather cover has two vertical oval windows cut out as level indicators. The silver guard is engraved with “ F.A.B.” and “Dec. 21, 1915”. The silver guard and lid are marked with hallmarks, including crossed arrows.

Description: A carrying case for cosmetics (a) of pigskin with a full zipper around three sides and carrying straps. The case is lined with moire fabric and leather strips to hold containers. There is a mirror (b) on the inside of the lid. The case contains a bottle (c) and two flat jars (d,e). A label on the iside of the case notes that the case is Canadian, and there are metal plated letters on the exterior of the case “P.B.M.”.
