- Album was a gift from Dorothy to her mother, Leette, for her birthday. It is signed: "To Mother for her birthday, May 24, 1951. With love from Dorie."
- Album is also labelled "Volume II: Trips, Family, Friends."
- V75 / I / PD - 2 is Volume I. Both albums were given to Leette from Dorothy as a birthday present on May 24, 1951.
- Album is green with "Photo Album" written in gold on the front, it is bound with a green tassel.
