Starting with Skoki Lodge in 1931, a series of modest buildings and huts were constructed. At its height, the club owned Skoki, Mt. Temple and Ptarmigan Chalets and the Lake Louise Ski Lodge. Brothers Clifford and Jack White , Cyril Paris and Alan Mather were among early shareholders. Peter and Catharine Whyte operated Skoki Lodge and lent financial support to the club throughout the 1930s and 1940s. Sir Norman Watson, an early shareholder increased his financial involvement in 1935 and eventually gained controlling interest in 1947.
