A typical brown wool felt cowboy hat, with a 2.5 wide beaded hat band. On the hat band is a champagne cork. On the hat are two small pins: 1.5 dia. gold coloured with blue rim "Photographic Society of America" and a smaller pin, dark blue with a red border, 1.2 dia. "Member Amateur Cinema League ACL". Inside headband is 5.0 wide leather, manufacturer's label "John B. Stetson Company Philadelphia" and "J.S. Solberg Big Timber Mont." Holes punched read "LAF". Leather thongs for chin strap.
